It's been freezing cold this entire week and besides the occasional grocery store run, I have been cooped up inside the house. This has happened a lot this past winter and when it does, I usually start redecorating & rearranging around the house. I'm sure I'm not alone in that! I have a long wall that my couch rests up against and I've struggled with what I should hang there. The wall has housed old barn windows, a wooden ladder, a couple pictures but it needed something else, something "heavier" looking. I had a Pottery Barn ledge hanging over my bed for awhile, but it has since been moved to the basement. My thought was to hang it above the couch. The best part of this mantel is that I get to decorate it!
I wanted something light and airy. I've been craving touches of light blues in my living room. I think the vintage jars added the perfect shade.
I added some faux blueberry branches inside my jar lamps this week.
Duke was looking so cute and comfy, I had to take a picture of him. This is one of his favorite spots! I think he likes that he gets the chair all to himself.
What do you think of the room? Do you move things around as much as I do?
Have a great weekend everyone!
