If you follow me on IG, you know I was supposed to post these back in May...near our anniversary...but that didn't happen, so my apologies.
Both Jack and I wanted a very small and intimate wedding, our nearest and dearest so-to-speak. We settled on a small list of 35 close friends and immediate family. Since I was living in Colorado at the time and his family being from Missouri (mine from California), Colorado seemed like a good middle ground for the event.
We found a beautiful, private estate nestled in a small town just south of Denver. Views of the mountains, horse pastures, and open space, exactly the backdrop I was looking for. I have to say, ideally I would have wanted to get married in September because Fall is my favorite season, ESPECIALLY in Colorado. All those gorgeous, yellow Aspen trees ***cue the angels singing*** (You know what I mean). But both Jack and I didn't want to wait that long, so we decided to have a short engagement and get married in May.
So here are some/many pictures of our special day... (Brace yourself for a lot) At the end I will list the vendors I used for my wedding, I had so many amazing vendors, if you're getting married near Denver or know someone that it, pass the names on because they were amazing.
The picture doesn't do this invitation justice...dark navy & gold backers, navy & gold letterpress writing...they were FABULOUS!
I have to note that this belt was made of fondant, and she hand painted it to look like a leather belt. So awesome!
Yes, that is my husband on the floor in his Vera Wang suit.... I think he figured since the ceremony & dinner had finished he could cut loose!!
Sadly, we didn't get any good photos of our sparkler exit, I was so worried about my tulle catching fire we ran through it!
