It was one of those Tuesdays where I needed to put away a GOOD couple loads of laundry, and I found every sort of distraction that enabled me NOT to do it. I cleaned, organized, moved things around.... repainted my table legs. Normal, right? I didn't think I'd get this project started for another couple of weeks, but when I'm avoiding the clean laundry hampers (yes, that was plural), I will find any task that deems more important. So what if the hubby has to dig through the clean laundry hamper to find a pair of socks for work...this table HAS to be painted!! Yes, those were my thoughts exactly.
About two weeks ago, I posted my table inspiration on my blog and my theme is something I like to call "white chippy goodness." This was my first time distressing table legs, so please do not judge to harshly! . I think down the road I might distress it a tad more, but for now, I like how it looks.
Hi All! So I posted a picture of our "new to us" dining table & chairs on my Instagram feed. If you don't follow me yet, here is my IG name: white_n_wood and get to findin' me! =) I wanted to show you what inspires me to re-do this bad boy into something that has more of my taste. The black and borderline orange stain aren't my colors, but I fell in love with these Windsor chairs and those big chunky table legs. I had to adopt them! This whole set up has "good bones,"and I am excited to see the final product.... when I finally get to it.
Below are some pictures of my "table crushes" right now. If you take a look, you'll get an idea what I am envisioning for this whole set!
This blog follows my love for family, design, & entertaining!
